Shopping carts are getting smarter

I remember when I first saw one of the shopping carts that use sensors and embedded strips in parking lots to lock the wheels. I'm not sure whether their magnetic or radio based, but it made me wonder how a person could exploit it's vulnerabilities. If it's a machine, simple or not, it can be modded.

Eventually someone on the streets is bound to find an older model from a reduced price store and modify it to the point of being close to a poc cart, with every gadget to monitor themselves as well as helping stabilize their comrades falling out from the heat here in Florida.

It's only a matter of time.
