My daughter the introvert

My daughter was going off to college soon and her mother and I were really nervous. Would she make friends or be lonely? Was she going to get into the sorority she wanted to or would she end up disappointed? Would her track practice interfere with her school work? There were so many unanswered questions but we knew our girl would be okay. She had a good head on her shoulders and was definitely very mature so we were not worried about sending her off to the wolves, just worried about her social life. She’s always been quiet, but we hoped college would really bring out the best in her. That goodness we did, because now our daughter’s so busy with her friends we can hardly catch her on the phone! She’s really blossomed and it’s all thanks to her school. I couldn’t be happier for her or her new life!
