Reading up on the back patters

Yesterday I was going through some RSS Feeds regarding what's been going on with Orlando's Food Not Bombs agency, their case regarding feeding the homeless there having to be taken up again.

Considering the amount of negative publicity the theme park city has; 3rd meanest towards the homeless; maybe they just need to rethink out of the box...no pun intended.

Years ago I pushed for consideration of CEOs and Directors to do just that, of engaging large manufacturers for the possibility of providing vital beta testing feedback. If homeless people need something...the manufacturers 'really' want to know if something's of use or not...then I say put it to the test in the trenches.

One item that would be a fantastic item for approach would be weight loss products. Between diabetes and other ailments due to obesity based on diet, there's tons of data that could be mined for a win-win situation by all. Being homeless isn't a crime, nor is becoming overweight at times during it's course...it's no different a long term residual effect than any other measurable symptom.
